How quickly can a system be installed?
A standard site deployment, hub, 6 to 10 sensors, and cellular backup, takes 2 to 4 hours. We can typically be on-site within 48 hours of your call.
Do we need power or internet on-site?
No. Ajax devices are battery-powered and the hub communicates via cellular SIM. A site trailer with power is helpful but not required.
What happens when the build is done?
We decommission and remove the system, or relocate it to your next site. No permanent infrastructure is left behind.
Can we arm and disarm remotely?
Yes. The Ajax app lets the site super, PM, or owner arm and disarm from anywhere, and you can set schedules so the system arms automatically after hours. Trades use their own unique access codes on the outdoor-rated Ajax keypad, giving each person a distinct credential, so you always have a clear record of who came and went, and when.
What if a sensor is stolen or damaged?
Ajax devices trigger a tamper alert the moment they are moved or opened. The hub logs the event and alerts the monitoring centre before the device can be removed.
