- A standard site deployment — hub, 6–10 sensors, and cellular backup — takes 2–4 hours. We can typically be on-site within 48 hours of your call.
- Do we need power or internet on-site?
- No. Ajax devices are battery-powered and the hub communicates via cellular SIM. A site trailer with power is helpful but not required.
- What happens when the build is done?
- We decommission and remove the system, or relocate it to your next site. No permanent infrastructure is left behind.
- Can we arm and disarm remotely?
- Yes. The Ajax app lets the site super, PM, or owner arm and disarm from anywhere. You can also set schedules so the system arms automatically after hours.
- Does this satisfy insurance requirements?
- Most commercial construction policies require documented monitored security. Ajax provides a full event log and our monitoring centre provides incident reports.
- What if a sensor is stolen or damaged?
- Ajax devices trigger a tamper alert the moment they are moved or opened. The hub logs the event and alerts the monitoring centre before the device can be removed.
